Effects of epidemics and pandemics on life expectancy

In this research project, the researchers are looking at the short- and long-term effects of epidemics and pandemics on remaining life expectancy. Due to unexpected events, such as the COVID-19 pandemic, the current approach to estimating the impact of these factors has become less reliable. The results of this research will enable the development of new estimation methods that better account for the effects of life-threatening diseases.

The research results will be published on this page.
